According to Lancaster movement cards Lancasters NG132, NG133 and NG134 all transferred to 550 Sqdn on 13.9.44. A Lancaster NG138 was never transferred to 550 Sqdn. Lancaster movement card for NG221 shows it transferred to 550 Sqdn on 13.10.44. PA268 is also recorded in the ORB as "F2", but does not arrive, according to the movement card, until March 1945. Therefore, the many entries in the ORB battle order citing NG138 need to be resolved (perhaps to NG133 or NG221, depending on the date of the ops concerned). |
